press the pedal and cart doesnt move

i have a 1993 EZ-GO marathon Batteries are charged...i press the pedal and it just sits there forward and reverse..i kept pressing the pedal and it finally took off...where should i start to find the problem?

Okay - so you ask the cart to go and it won't go but you ask again and again and again until finally - it goes? Intermittent connection somewhere in the whole system. That's a big field.

When the cart would not go was the solenoid clicking?

im not sure i didnt know to listen for it..its dark and raining now i will check for that tomorrow

i checked it this morning and it does click but it also moved so wont know for sure till it messes up again

all i have found is a loose connection on the back of the key switch..so far its working fine

messed up again solenoid was bad

Ted, do you know for sure the solenoid is bad?
Scotty has an easy to follow troubleshooting guide on the cartsunlimited website to test and determine for sure.
