Default EZGO TXT Rear end noise

First time post, I have a 2010 Electric TXT 48 volt that makes a rattling noise from the rear end when you let off of the accelerator and coast at higher speeds. I changed the rear end oil, that did not help. Hope you guys can help!

number one is clean/grease the input shaft splines from the motor to axle interface. new input shaft "bumper" during that cleanup might also help. costs only a few bucks, might totally solve all the noise, and a used cart almost always needs that service done anyway.

These motors only have one bearing in them...in the end furthest from the rear end...might be a good time to replace it...bearing #6203. Most parts houses carry it.

Are there any diagrams for the motor or threads on how to change the motor bearing?

I replaced the bearing in the motor and that did not help. So i then removed the input shaft to checked the bearings on it. The bearings on the input shaft were catching when turned by hand. So I replaced them and now the rear end makes no noise at all. Thanks for everybody's help , suggestions and diagrams.

I need to do this on a 98 TXT. Did you remove the motor and change the bearings on the input shaft while the differential was in the cart, or remove the differential? I'm looking to do all the axle bearings and brakes but think the input shaft bearings are making all the noise.

I'm experiencing the same problem.

Is it required to remove motor and whole rear end?

Anybody has this link updated? http://http://www.carrus.com/files/8113/7586/7388/48V_TXT_REPAIR_AND_SERVICE_MANUAL.pdf
