Programming a Curtis 350 amp Controller
I hijacked a previous thread asking a similar question so I figured I'd start a new one to expand on this.
I had a new Curtis 350 amp controller installed in my 2011 RXV & wanted to know about programming it. Someone said to pay to have "freedom mode" unlocked. What does this buy me & what should it cost? Any other options? |

it gets you maximum top speed of 19.5mph with stock 18" tall tires (slightly faster with taller custom wheels everyone likes). cost should be in the range of $100-$200. can typically only be done by ezgo dealer. there is a key floating around here that you can rent to unlock it yourself (the drawback is it only sets to 18mph, the final adjustment must be made with a handheld programmer).
