Default 93 Marathon GE motor Vibration

This motor has been rebuilt (Before I got it) I know that a kid rode it in a plat that had long steep hills. I put in new batteries and test rode it . Bad vibration in motor. Worse at just below full speed.Bad enough to make the bag well roar! Took motor apart and rear bearing and brushes all fairly new. But spin the armature and the wiring on the end of armature is way off center . Commutator at brushes runs true. Shafts run true. Could this be from overspeed coming off steep hills too fast .Kids DO Like to go FAST !!!

could be, but that kind of damage usually results in a Very short life after the fault occurs. often all over in a matter of seconds. are you describing uneveness in the commutator (copper bars where the brushes deliver power to the armature)?

No that surface where the brushes ride on is running true the other end where the copper comes out turns and goes back to the other end those are not even and looks like they have been slung or bent off to one side and higher on one side than the other as you spin it and watch them . The shaft is turning true where the spines are. I did notice that 1 wire is has sort of a grey look to it all the rest look like varnished copper or normal. Like maybe a short on that one . But it ran fine as far as power goes. Didn`t run it much as vibration was unacceptable. Nothing was hot or even warm after 10 min. of riding . Then in the shop it went for motor removal

one grey wire huh? it needs a rebuild before it kills your controller.
