Default What could be wrong??

Earlier today I washed off my cart after letting it sit for about 30 minutes to dry off i decided to take it around the block. It was running fine until i made a stop and then it would not go! I had to let it sit for a few minutes and then it would start going again. This kept happening the whole way home any time i would stop and let off the throttle. What could it be? Did something get wet that should not have?
Thank you in advance for the help

yep, probably just wet. park it with a fan pointing under it to help dry out the pedal box area, maybe try same for F&R switch area. your issue is not a new phenomenon by any means, happens to me plenty.

I second that, car kept shutting down on me when i sprayed a hose underneath it. after a good 15-20 minutes of checking found a wire that was apparently too exposed and didn't like water lol
