NEW rxv motor for 2010 rxv
i am getting ready to buy a brand new ac replacement motor for my rxv. The cart is a 2010, and i have to replace the original motor because the 3 main wires coming out of it has corroded in half. So the wires are not replaceable or repairable.
My question is, when i get this new motor ( from ezgo), will the encoder be attached, or part of the motor? Or is this a seperate part that i also need to buy? I have read there are 2 different "decoder/ sensors"?? Thanks for any help |

Re: NEW rxv motor for 2010 rxv
EZGO is currently only shipping the motor with the externally replaceable speed sensor (encoder). If you are running a cart that has the encoder bearing in it instead of the external unit, then you will need an adaptor cable (which EZGO also sells) to adapt your wiring harness to the new style speed sensor.

Re: NEW rxv motor for 2010 rxv
So it sounds like they do have 2 different "encoders".
Why is there 2? When did they change from using 1 to the other? Does anyone have a picture of the 2 different types? |
