Four green flash is okay.
The fuse is okay there. Disconnecting the small wires and reconnecting is doing one of 2 things. It is rebooting the control. So maybe the control board has a fault that rebooting fixes? or you are simply wiggling a bad connection within the plug.
Next time it won't go try just wiggle/pull at the red wire mostly and see if it goes. No go? unplug and replug, if it goes you have a controller fault and you will need to replace the control.
If you do need to replace it look at the new Alltrax XCT controls = much better.

Possibly. Red is power (+) for the control board.

Test the throttle signal
set the meter to volts DC
with the probe the white and black wires with the test leads
or lift the plug just enough to touch the pins and still be attached to the wires
or probe the wire terminal in the pin while plug is connected. Somehow get a reading on the blk and wht wires while the controller is showing a green LED

Pedal up reading is 10v and pedal down is 6v

yes or no?

That's close enough - so the controller is being told to pass current to the motor.

Same green LED.
test probes on controller B- and M-
Press the gas until solenoid just clicks and hold, what is the meter reading?
Continue pressing the gas down the reading should go near 0v
