Default another, where does it go?

Ok so I have a question.. please refer to the link, it has to deal with the micro switch on the accelerator switch 83-93.. it shows a black wire going from one side of the solenoid to one side of the micro switch.. what it neglects to show is where does the wire connect to on the other side of the micro switch??

also using the same picture, why does the wire from contact post one run back up to the solenoid??

Sorry I looked at the pic real fast and thought it was the forward reverve switch board not the accelerator.

sleeze,

On your "frankencart" project you may have to wing it and make your own control harness.. If I were wiring this up... Run a wire from the pack positive to the key switch, another wire from the key sw. to the accel. microswitch.. Another wire from the microswitch to the solenoid, the last wire from the solenoid to pack negative.. This will give you a basic circuit to operate the solenoid..

would it be safe or ideal to operate the solenoid on only 24v??? or does it have to use 36v constantly????

I know 24v will operate the solenoid as i tried it last nite.. 24v will make the solenoid work, but being that it is for 36v am i going to hurt it by not running the full 36v through it allll the time???
