Default Undercarriage Protection/Deflector

Does this exist for a 1991 Marathon Electric? I am in a dusty environment with lots of short but thick vegetation that I have to remove quite often. Doesn't look like it's doing much damage but it can't be good. I have searched online and don't see anything and I plan to fashion a plate that runs the length of the cart from a thin and lightweight oil drip pan.
Thoughts?

I have thought about this for some time.....look all over the place and never found one....you idea will work. Just remember.....you do need/want some ventilation for that area......so ensure you do have some air circulation.

1/4" plywood (marine grade if you want quality) should do the trick....cut to the shape of the frame-drill multiple 1/2" holes for air exchange, paint with a water proof paint(epoxy if you like) attach to bottom of cart-done.
