Ezgo txt 08 stock camber
Hey all, i have a stock suspension ez go txt electric 36v. It has 12 inch rhox wheels on it. The suspension to the best of my knowledge is stock. I've installed a new steering rack recently as it was quite worn. It was awfully creaky. I have ensured the alignment is about 1/8" toe in, but the right front camber is off. The front tires are /|. Obviously that's exaggerated but I'm getting poor wear from the right front tire and want to get it back to correct. I can't see any way that this camber is adjustable. Is there an aftermarket kit? Is my only option to go with a lift kit? Thanks in advance.

Re: Ezgo txt 08 stock camber
Do 2 things.....
1. take a L square and check it isn't just an optical illusion. Believe me I have had to do this numerous times on carts I thought were "off". Sometimes they are and sometimes they aren't. 2. If it is "off" , check the front axle for any signs of a bend in it. I have had a few that had very slight bends in them, usually you find it near where the shock mounts are welded to the axle. Best way to check that is with a decent length straight edge like a 8-10 inch piece of Angle iron that you can hold against both the top and then the bottom of the axle starting from the spindle weldment and going inward. The few times I have found that the tire was actually off camber on an EZGO, it was usually from a bent axle. I did actually have one that was from a bent spindle, but that is extremely rare. |

It won't let me post picture due to being new, dumb, but I'm 5/8" in up top on right side, drivers side dead on.

And upon further inspection, you were correct, front axle is bent, son of a beeeoooch. So, what you guys recommend? Worth trying to straighten? Who's got a good one for cheaper after you installed your lift kit?

I went ahead and ordered a drop axle lift kit. Seems obvious at this point, why rebuy stock parts?
