best place for controllers for rxvs?

looks like im needing 2 new controllers for a couple rxvs here in the shop. the retail on them is 2060 my price is better than that but still 4 figures. anybody tried a rebuilt one? i saw a couple rebuilt ones on ebay for 550 or so and was curious if people have had luck with them. seems like its all the same company, Flight Systems Industrial Products. they have a 90 day waranty. thoughts?

I'm an FSIP dealer. I am not a big fan of 'rebuilt' controllers.

No 'rebuilder' could give me a list of parts that went into a controller rebuild.

These controls are repaired not rebuilt as the name implies.

Years ago when I was in the service end of the industry I sold and installed 'rebuilt controllers' - they carried a one yr warranty. The majority of these units did not last until the end of the warranty and it was a service nightmare.

Now you say 90 day warranty? Makes me think they know it's not going to last.

if your a dealer is this something you could get me instead of going through ebay?

Yes but I'm not a fan - I'm waiting for pricing on the repaired OEM and the new 350a controls.

I have a supplier for brand new 2016 date code Curtis 1206AC-5211 controller packages for just under $500 shipped. You would need to convert the existing 23 pin Danaher harness to the 35 pin Curtis connector to use them though. I've done it and it's not too hard. most of the wires will move over directly to the new connector, and you have to unbond 2 wires (a +5V and a gnd) and extend them to the Curtis connector. These were from the E-Z-GO assembly line so they include the mounts, resistor, and resistor mount already attached to the controller/heat sink assy.
