Default Brake lights work but the rest do not

I have 2001 ezgo electric freedom golf cart 36v PDS system. In the spring we tried to replace the batteries but in the process we burned out the controller. We replaced the solenoid and the controller and got the cart running. However ever since then, the lights do not work. The brake lights work all the time when you use the brakes but no other lights work. Any ideas on what the problem is would be great.

Make sure you didn't leave off a small wire somewhere. Sometimes they fall to the side and get overlooked. Trace the wire from your light switch back to the battery or converter, also trace the ground wire from the lights back to the batteries or converter.

I think I've done that and cannot find anything that looks wrong. The only thing I can't check is the wires that run up to the switch on the dash. Could the switch itself be bad or is that unlikely.

It's possible. Does it have a separate switch, or is the lights in the key switch?

Is there a fuse panel on the drivers side wheel splash guard? And if so can we assume you checked the fuses and maybe even replaced them as they could be 15 years old.

Yes I replaced all the fuses. I just ordered a new switch for it hoping that that would be the solution.
