Question Adding USB Charger Outlets....?

I'd like to add two USB charger outlets. I'm considering using something like this. I'd like to mount it where the golf ball holder is. However, wondering if anyone has added USB ports to their cart and how you installed them.

Thanks

I'm thinking something like this, volt meter, 12 volt socket, and dual USB.
I will be adding something, just not exactly sure what yet.

Mike I like that.

How does a voltage gauge differ from charge status gauge? Do you think it's as useful?

Thanks for the post!

Blue Sea has some really nice Dual USB Outlets that output a full 2.4 per USB that do not even have an LED to bother you at night...

Get one of these then you don't have to have a separate usb point that only has one use.

That was indeed my train of thought too but I went through and thought about the last two years of Cart and Boat Ownership and I've simply realized that the USB outlets are used more... I'm going to keep at least one 12 volt power outlet on my boats but it will be kept closest to the battery for powering compressors and charging the battery etc, but in the drivers & passenger compartment I'm going solely USB...

I have the charge gauge but have seen many posts about a digital gauge. The only question I would have is, will this one work on showing the charge on a golf cart?

That's going to depend on what range it reads up too and HOW you wire it...

I sent the seller a question about how high the volt meter would read, I'll post the answer if I get one. I would wire the volt meter to the charge gauge, everything else would be 12 volt.

That's a great chart. Puts context around the voltage meter readings...
