Re: converting from 36volt to 48volt
What type drive does the cart have, series or sepex?
What make/model controller? Is the solenoid 48V rated? The cart with the new controller, solenoid and motor was working at 36V and all you did was replaced the 36V battery pack with a 48V battery pack, or did you do some other things also? |

Re: converting from 36volt to 48volt
What model Alltrax controller????????
OR what type drive, Series or SepEx?????? It is exceeding difficult to troubleshoot when whatever you are trying to troubleshooting isn't being identified. ---------- What is the blue wire on the 48V triangular charge receptacle connect to? |

Re: converting from 36volt to 48volt
Okay, you have a series drive.
Does the LED go to steady green (after flashing a number of times - 4 if it is set for an ITS type throttle) when the pedal is pushed? If it doesn't check the voltage on the blue wire at the charge receptacle. (Should be battery pack voltage when charger is not plugged in) |

Re: converting from 36volt to 48volt
You have to get battery pack voltage (48V) onto Pin-1 to power up the AXE controller.
Voltage source is the blue wire at the charge receptacle, then to MS-2, then to Keyswitch, then to pedal switch and finally on the Pin-1 and the solenoid coil. If the blue wire doesn't have pack voltage on it when the charger is not connected, you can bypass it by connecting the red wire to MS-2 to the main positive terminal on the battery pack (or by replacing the defective charge receptacle) |
