wrong controller ordered?

I was given a broken down ezgo textron 1994. I finally got it working for a few months then it suddenly quit. No go, no solenoid click. It was quite awhile ago that I did some troubleshooting and decided it was the controller (forgive me i dont recall how I did, Ive had two strokes since). I couldnt afford a new controller, until I saw some cheap ones on ebay. When I ordered, the company asked for some details, like voltage and year. I told him 91 marathon, but since I discovered it is 94 EZgo Textron. The controller shipped is differnt than original. it has a a set of white plugin connectors on the left, and an additional male spade on left. I connected everything the best I could figure, but nothings working. I applied power to solenoid and it clicking. I ordered--
P125M-5603 500A DC Motor Controller Replacing CURTIS 1205 1205M-5601 1205M-5603.. Trying to determine if I can get it to work with this controller, or do I have a problem somewhere else. Sorry for long post

Sorry, additional male spade is on the right.

The difference in these controls is the throttle input signal. They are not interchangeable.

Hi waynek I am looking at a Curtis 1205 to switch my 91 Marathon to 48 volts.
