Default 99 ezgo

Hey guys, I have a 99 ezgo pds. It has been more of a pos lately but hope you all can help! The batteries were dirty, acidic, and voltages all over the place. They are getting better with a good cleaning and individual charges, one 6 volt battery at a time. The other issue was that the cart was beeping, but more of a pulsing beep than the reverse alarm sound we all know to well. I wonder if this is a code for something? Would it beep like this if the battery pack was too low to do anything? Ive read a few posts about this and it seems the controller could be bad.

Any advice is much appreciated!

Thank you all....

I would disconnect the controller at this time, continue charging batteries. When all batteries are fully charged, reconnect the controller.

PDS note - good practice to flip the Run/Tow switch to maintenance BEFORE any electrical work - every time

99 PDS ? Curious because the 2000 pds was first yr. hermaphrodite. and real PDS came out in 2001.

Scotty, you are probably correct. i just looked at serial number and figured on a 99. Regardless, the beeping stopped when i got the pack voltage back up to 32 or so. I was able to charge with 36 volt charger finally, and now i am running a discharge test.... All seems well at this point thank you for the input!

The last 2 digits of the manufacture code is the year the cart was made
