Voltage Reducer Question
Is a fuse required on the source connection that are being hooked to the batteries ? I am still not sure which reducer I am going to go with but I see no reducers that come with a fused connection going to the battery pack and just wanted to see what others are doing. Thanks

Re: Voltage Reducer Question
The input (48/36v) and output (12v) of the DC convertor should be fused. Most of them require your diligence to wire/fuse as needed. The ones I have seen with a fuse are usually a very unreliable fuse holder (opaque plastic, weak clips, and zero protection from water & corrosion), and I look on them with suspicion.
