won't run
I have a 91 ezgo marrathon, it will click when selector is changed between forward and reverse, but will only move when charger is plugged in. topped off cells with distilled water, plugged charger in, charger indicator stayed at 0 while charger was putting out 46 volts. left charger on over night, same reading in the morrning. cart still runs only with charger plugged in.

Re: won't run
Check the actual battery voltage when trying to drive (charger not plugged in), we need to see if the voltage is drastically dropping when pedal pressed.

Both directions votage drops from 37 to 25 when a direction is selected and cotinues to drop as the pedal is pressed and the cart don't move.

Re: won't run
Likely battery or cable problem. You can repeat the last test on each individual battery to see if one is totally shot, or if several are done. If none of the batteries drop a lot, it might be a solenoid or cable problem. I'm betting its one or more batteries.

Re: won't run
I had the charger on all night, when I unplugged it this morrning I did a hydromiter test on each cell and all were below average and showed they needed a charge.

Re: won't run
How old are the batteries? Sounds like a battery problem.
