RXV 8 volt batteries instead of 12 volt?
I just saw my first rxv that had 8 volt batteries, instead of 12 volt batteries.
Is this 8 volt battery set up, require any conversion items such as tub etc? Or do you have to cut and modify the existing 12 volt tub? What about the cart wiring, other than needing an reducer, is there any mods needed? |

Battery racks are available. Here's some threads on it.

Cannot easily mod the stock 12v tray, would be as much work as making a new one. Need new cables, new tray (comes from ezgo with hold-down & rods) , dc convertor.

Great, thanks guys. Sounds easy enough.
Will the existing 12 volt tray just unbolt, and the new 8 volt tray bolt right back in? Is that easy? |

A few years back the part number was 627889 but it may have changed though. Was pretty much a bolt in replacement.
