Please Help with Wire Diagram and Model EZGO 36 Volt

I own a gas cart but I am trying to help my neighbor fix his cart. It appears to be a 96. It is a 36 volt cart with all of the batteries together. I looked at the controllers and it looks to be a 1206 series. Here is the story: he had a guy put new batteries in it and it did not run after that so the guy thought it was a bad mircro switch on the FNR and then began to start changing out electrical parts. The back of the FNR has 4 wires with a 5th doubled up and I have yet to see a diagram like that. Here are my questions: can anyone tell me the model based on my description? Can someone please point me in the right direction with a diagram so I can start trouble shooting? One more bit of info is I read about a micro switch located in the female charge port so I opened it up and there is no switch. Thanks Adam

Here ya go.....you mentioned, one of the cables is doubled up.....I am guessing that ORIGINALLY that cart had a different controller, like a 1204, which has 4 POSTS on it, one of them being labeled A2.....your controller only has three....whom ever swapped the controllers, they could have just left off the one, but instead they just doubled one them as the new controller (your 1206) doesn't have a place for it. Here is the diagram for both....one for your current configuration, and the original.....

and their is NO micro-switch in the charge port.....but there is a REED Switch....if its still there.
