Salt water electrical gremlins
I just got a 2006ish txt from my parents, it has spent all of its life on the beach and has the rust to prove it. It was fully functional and ran great until hurricane mathew came through. It was stored under the house and got saltwater up to the floorboard and is now what i call "somewhat functional".
-it only sometimes works. goes in forward sometimes and goes into reverse sometimes, but not regularly and you always have to screw with it to make it work. -now once it goes into forward, it goes about a quarter throttle without pressing the throttle. so it is a bit of a safety hazard. I am new to doing any work on carts. What should be the first thing i should replace? thanks, i know electrical problems can be a pain to run down and might not have an easy solution. |
