running 36 or 48v, 48 gives it a lot of torque

Hey Vagabond im upgrading to 48 volt with the xct 500 amp controller. Im hoping for increase in speed and torque. What kind of speed are you getting?

25 or 35? I get about 25 with stock pds motor and controller.. but it's sloww uphill. how's torque? Looking to go the xct 500 route 48v on the B2

Rick I just built one a few months ago....48v, with a 500a controller, 6" lift on 23" tires and the B2. its runs 25 mph on flat ground and has GOBS of torque.

Vagabond has tall gears and tires. The B2 motor goes about the same speed as a stock motor but makes 3 times the power.
