'07 36v motor clicks
I have an '07 PDS, (F/R switch on dash). Had the brushes professionally replaced in the motor about 20hrs on motor since. no issues up to this point. Plugged (PowerWiseQE) charger in and light would blink back and forth G/R/G/R and cut off. (no light). Batteries are about 2yrs old Trojan's, I checked all batteries which ranged from 6.17-6.21. Here's where the problem starts. Got on the cart, it took off normal and rode it approx. 20ft, at that point it shut down. I cycled the key/ switched from F/R turned key back on and it ran like a champ over to the superbowl party. leaving on the other hand. turned the key on and press the peddle, you could here a click back by the motor but no response. tried cycling key/ switching F/R, tow switch. all I could get was the click by the motor. After about 100 times of that, drove it back to the house fine. I would like to repair/replace what ever this could be before it causes other costly issues. Thanks Team

Re: '07 36v motor clicks
Hmm being that it's an intermittent problem, could be the solenoid, the speed sensor under floor or even your switch on the dash. Could even be a touchy harness connection. There is some very specific testing that can be done with a volt meter. But being a pds cart, it should have a self diagnostic test you can do. The instructions should be on the weather cover that protects the controller. Try that test and see if that gives you any codes. As for your charger giving you error codes, either the charger is bad or your batteries have an issue. What is the entire pack voltage read? It's possible you could have a bad battery too

I haven't run the test on it. I will perform that tonight. Can't think of what the whole bank was reading, that will be something else I will check. I will post my finds later tonight. Thanks.

Are you still running a stock motor controller set up? If so it may be the speed sensor

Re: '07 36v motor clicks
Motor and controller are all stock. Has 6" lift with 25" tires. Heard this could cause a problem somewhere down the road. Just got in so I'm going to go poke it with a stick in just a few.
