2001 TXT Limo Build
Well it's time to build another cart for my collection. This time I'm going to build a limo. If any one has built one, advice will be appreciated.
The cart I'm starting with Starting Tear Down |

Re: 2001 TXT Limo Build
Well I have been wanting to do the same thing, have two frames to work from and the cart to build it from along with a lift to match the front end. Here is thread that I have read several times and will be part of my basis for the build as it has good information in it,,,well I think it does

Re: 2001 TXT Limo Build
I'm doing a factory length stretch. I have already purchased 2014 and newer EZGO factory shuttle rockers. They are nice, heavy steel diamond plate. I am more worried about strength then keeping the frame looking stock so I sistered in 2x2 .125 and 1x2 for the rockers. Got it tacked together the way i think i'm going to want it. The pod seat should show up today. Once I place that on the frame and locate it, I will be adding some steel to the frame for the mounting bolts.

Re: 2001 TXT Limo Build
Had a little time to work on the cart.
Getting the seat located. Mounted and fixed shifter linkage. Next, I have a sheet of steel to make floor pan Make new wires to extend to shifter location. Then time for body work |
