Clean charging receptacle or buy new?
Any good ideas on how to clean this dusty corroded looking sucker up or should I buy a new one?
The more and more I dig on this cart I see how neglected it was by previous owner. Trying to bring her back to life. |

Re: Clean charging receptacle or buy new?
You can try cleaning up with a small wire wheel on a dremal tool or if parts completely are removable you can soak the contacts, brass, copper etc parts in a good quality descaler de-limer available at home improvement centers. I use it all the time and makes things come up like new.

To me, it just looks dusty, not compromised for use. Air compressor for dust & a very small amount of Wd40 in each hole.
