ezgo replacement motor info needed

i have a 2004 txt with an A02 4012 motor that got flooded during hurricane matthew. will a A95-4005A work as a replacement? i will be using a curtis 25864G05 controller. the cart is all stock

Have you torn the motor apart? I assume you're considering it a total loss, so you have nothing to lose. If stock, there are manuals in the stickies.

yes i have opened up. very rusted . took to local motor shop. they dont do these motors but did advise it needed complete rewind

Look up plum quick and send them some pictures. Maybe they can do something. Just a thought, their PQ bandit respin costs $225 I believe
