Default Solved - Need help Removing brake torsion spring

I've decided that I need to complete the teardown of my 99 txt so I can properly rehab the frame. Right now I am stuck on this.

SOLVED: Brute Force and luck.
1. How do I remove the brake pedal spring? I have the nut off the pivot busing, but the bolt is binding and I can't pull it out. I can't "insert a small blade screwdriver between the small hook and bracket and move the hook back and to the side to unhook it. It keeps snapping back and will not move enough to come free.

To remove: First....take a cutting torch......

To attach: First....find a guy who can weld.....

I replaced a couple of those in my repair career - they are a brute.... use screwdriver or pointy end of an ironworkers wrench to get under the spring end and pry it off and on.
Once it is off you way want to get a new one from shopezgo.com for the rebuild
