The pot wires at the F&R reduce the throttle signal for reverse speed. They share a ms which terminal white or black is on is irrelevant. Hope this helps

Pot switch wires at controller were black and white new wires are brown and blue, does it matter which goes where as long as they plug on one of the same post that black and white wires came off. Is it like the micro switch on FNR switch its irrelevant where they plug on ms?

Most controllers will accept the pot wire signal in either order. If the response is goofy swap the wires, no harm done.

What does the white wire that goes to positive side battery from ms 4 do ( what's its purpose)?

Reference post #3. MS 4 is 2 separate switches. They are both simple open/close switches. The one is used to make and break the pot wire circuit. the other one you ask about is used to supply + to the back up beeper when the cart is in reverse.... (beeper has - continually)
I hope this helps
