TXT Still no go
I posted previously that on my electric TXT when pedal is pushed I feel a vibration but the cart won't move. Post replies thought it was stripped hubs, but that is not the case. I jacked the cart up and one wheel spins when pedal is pushed. If I apply pressure to the spinning wheel the opposite wheel engages. What could be causing my cart not to move?
P.S. Scottyb, glad I canceled the hub order. |

Re: TXT Still no go
One bad battery - Put a voltmeter on one battery and write down the voltage reading. Now watching the meter, try to go - write down the low voltage reading. Move the meter to the next battery and repeat for all 6 batteries.
Post your readings here. |

Re: TXT Still no go
All batteries read 7.0 except one 6.9. I did have the charger in before measuring so I think I need to let them sit before testing again. Batteries are 4 years old

Re: TXT Still no go
Was my instruction hard to understand put the meter on a battery and TRY TO GO.
Post the voltage results No need to charge - just test under load as instructed. If none of the batteries drops significantly you may have a high current connection problem or maybe a motor problem.... |

Re: TXT Still no go
My bad sorry about that. Put the jack stands under the rear end. Hook your voltmeter to the battery pack. Push go pedal and see if your battery pack is dropping way down.

Re: TXT Still no go
I misunderstood you scottyb. I tried moving the cart. First push of pedal cart wanted to move, second push just got vibration. Tested batteries again, got reading of 7.0 to 6.8.
