Default Ezgo vs Clubcar precedent

Hi

I have a 2010 precedent with code 4 19.6 mph Are the EZGO any faster? Today l was past by a late model EZGO on a hill like l was standing still. It was a stock ezgo.

What gives?

Stock ezgo Rxv with stock 8" wheels will do 19.6 mph per Ansi spec for PTV Golf vehicles. Added larger street tires will give a little boost due to their larger diameter (the cart does not know the new tires are larger, might hit 22mph). I define "stock" as "as delivered from ezgo, with 18" tires/8" rims, no gear modifications, no software changes, no changes whatsoever". A stock Rxv won't exceed stock speed, even down the steepest Hill. Ezgo does make a 25mph LSV model called a 2five, looks very similar with a different roof. The vehicle that passed you at speeds of "like I was standing still" may have been a Rxv, but it was not totally stock. Well, one thing I missed, now I'm going to change my assumption to you were going UP hill. If that was the case, yep, AC powered Yamahas & Ezgo's smoke DC powered carts up hills, loosing little to no speed up hills stock.

You are 100% correct l was going up a steep hill. I have to regroup the cost in order to get more speed and tourqe is not cheap.

I was thinking of selling my Club Car and buying an Ezgo but now l will work on my cc

Thanks
