Brake drum/ hub question
I had an '05 txt cart custom built. I'm not sure what rear end is in it, but it has separate hubs and drums. Can the drums with the built in hubs be installed instead? What years had the separate slide on drums? Thanks in advance.

Re: Brake drum/ hub question
The hub/drum as one unit combo is typically less desirable. When done that way, the splines are cast iron. The separate setup allows the hub splines to be steel, much better. If you have a 05 with 4 lugs, and hubs & drums are separate, consider that an upgrade.

Re: Brake drum/ hub question
I'm still surprised when I see Yamaha drums & hubs on a Ezgo.

Re: Brake drum/ hub question
Thank you. So my set up is better than the single hub/drum unit. I'm in need of a drum because one of mine is warped. So what year/brand etc should I look for?

Jason, you can go to Scotty's site (link in the above post) and get one there. you can buy a single one.....don't have to buy a pair.
