Default Stock suspension upgrade for smoother ride?

I have a 2004 stock suspension TXT PDS. I put 14" wheels with 20.5" tires and it now rides a little rougher than I would like. I brought the air down to 8psi and it smoothed out a little, but I would like to see better.

Are there any suspension upgrades for the stock ride height? Can I change out the struts for something better or would the leafs have to be changed too? I don't want HD leafs.

What I have is pretty worn out so I want to get new parts regardless. Would it be better just to go back with stock and hope it rides better than the worn out stuff I have?

TIA.

The first part of your suspension is the sidewall of the tire. You gained 2.5" of tire but lost 6" of sidewall going from 8" rim to 14". So it will be harsher.

You could try replacing the shocks if your old ones are worn, but to be honest I don't know how much that would gain you.

Others may have better ideas, good luck!

Yeah I expected a rougher ride and to be honest it's not that bad since I lowered the psi, but I was hoping there were some other options than going back with stock. I've been searching around but coming up with nothing.

They make dual action rear leaf springs for the TXT - but they are made primarily for people with rear seats and are marketed as 'hybrid' leafs.

The 'stock' leaf springs would be the softest available.

I changed out the shocks front and rear on my 2013 RXV when I bought it. Reason being I use it for hunting and wanted best ride possible for the off road use. The right side of cart did sag a little also. I have 10'' rims with 22'' tires and 6'' lift. I run 5 lbs air in front tires and 8 lbs in the back. I replaced them with stock items and really glad I replaced everything.
