Default ID tag

Good Morning;
New to forum. Just purchased a 1999 TXT, and the ID Tag is missing from he glove compartment. Is there another way to find the serial number and the date of birth? Many thanks.

I think if people would stop buying carts with the ID plates removed then other people would stop stealing them for resale.

That being said.....on my yr 2000 TXT Workhorse the ID # is stamped on the frame rail above the right rear tire....check yours there?

Sorry Scot;
I did not know any better, since it was our first purchase of a cart. All that being said, thanks for the reply;

If you didn't know then you too are a victim.....I just put it out there in print so others will know to check for a missing ID tag

When I bought my 2005 TXT PDS I did some web searching for some things and decided to look for the ID tag. I wanted to verify that mine was a 2005. Some web sites said to look in the glove compartment. I did and no tag. I emailed the seller asking why the ID tag was missing. Doing some more web searches I found the newer EZ Go's do not have the tag in the glove compartment anymore. It is below the charger connection I think and also stamped in the frame below the seat.

Just doug out my bill of sale, that I got from the Authorized Dealer. It states that is a 1999 TXT, Serial # 2368197. From that can we tell when it was built?
Many thanks
Ron
