Default New rear springs are in 2005 TXT PDS

Installed my new (3 leaf) rear springs I bought off ebay. The rear of my 2005 TXT PDS was sagging some. It was a golf course cart and somewhat well used on a daily basis. Anyone that buys a used TXT that comes from a golf course should probably consider new rear springs. Checking today I can see this seller does not have any 3 leaf rear springs for sale. They do list 4 leaf rear springs though. http://stores.shop.ebay.com/superbargainbarn-4less I'm sure if you email them they will sell you a set of their 3 leaf rear springs. At $90 delivered it seemed like a fair price. I liked the look of these because they have the plastic spacers in between the ends of the leafs to prevent any squeaks like the OEM factory springs have. They went in OK. Not a hard job. Hated the long u bolts. Lots of swings of the ratchet to get the nylock nuts off! Reinstalling them I greased all the bushings and bolts with some heavy duty silicone grease to stop any squeaks and any future rust of the bolts, sleeves etc. I had previously made some longer shackles for my original springs to try to get the rear higher. Once I removed my original factory springs I could see the original springs were warped. Somewhat like a W. I also went back to the OEM factory rear shackles. The OEM shackles have a 2 1/2" center to center hole pattern. The longer shackles I made are 3 3/4" center to center in my previous attempt to lift the rear of my cart. Reusing these longer shackles would have been way too much lift in the rear. My 2005 TXT PDS cart now sits about level. At most a little taller in the rear although that may go away as the cart is used and the springs settle in some. So I may consider making some new shackles again or redrilling the ones I made to maybe 3 or 3 1/4" hole centers. I'm a bit anal on the looks so I would probably just make new rear shackles. In my opinion these springs are almost too strong. Standing on the rear bumper and bouncing up and down they do not have much give. But I do not think there are many other options available for replacement rear springs for what I was looking for. I've heard that if you were to buy OEM EZ-GO rear springs the rear tends to sag some from brand new. So this 3 leaf set up is probably my best option. I am looking for the rear to be slightly higher and to have a smooth ride around my golf course/yard. I looked at lowering the front end. Possibly the front could be dropped some by putting the front springs on top of the plate the front suspension goes to. That would provide about a 1/2" drop in the front. Or making a shim and tilting the front springs down some. I doubt I go that route. The seat is already low when I get in. I do not want it lower.
