LED questions
I just got my EZGO RXV 48v and have been making some changes to it.
First thing is I replaced the halogen headlights and tail lights with LED equivalent bulbs. They're alright, but now the rear blinkers don't work and the front blinkers are weak. Any advice? Secondly, I got four LED lights (2 for the front and 2 in the rear) to mount. I have no idea what to do. They're supposed to be for a vehicle. Is there anything special I need to do since it's a cart? TIA! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Re: LED questions
You need to replace the flasher relay with an led one

Re: LED questions
Thanks, guys. I've ordered the part. Now, is there anything special I need to do for the extra lights I'm going to mount?

Re: LED questions
Also, after taking a ride at night, I noticed the lights dimmed when I punched the accelerator. Is this typical behavior?

Re: LED questions
Could be a high resistance connection, bad battery or voltage reducer if you use one. I've read where you should stay out of an RXV wiring harness.

So I got the relay, but I'm still having the problem of no blinking in the rear. The lights work including the break lights, but not flashing. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Re: LED questions
Wilco, you mentioned you had four additional leds to hook up. What did you want those leds to do? Blink with turn signals, just light up when you throw a switch or just be on when the head lights are on?

I want them to light up with the switch. I have the wiring harness already. Just clueless on where to connect them on the converter. Thanks! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
