'02 PDS - Pulled Speed Chip - Won't go back to stock
I just bought an '02 Ezgo PDS cart with a "speed" chip already installed. I used gps to measure speed and it topped at 17mph. I pulled the chip and still get 17 mph. I went through the 5 time Neutral/Reverse toggle test but don't get any beeps.
I need to return this cart to stock speed as it is currently too fast for my kids. Thank you. |

Turn the Tow/Run switch to Tow for a few seconds. And then back to run with out the speed plug in the controller

I did that multiple times to no avail. I even tried swapping in a torque chip that is supposed to keep the regenerative braking with no change. Any other ideas?

Try turning the run tow switch to tow then unplug the run tow wire from the controller with the chip out. Let it sit for a few minutes then hook the wire back up, flip it to run and try again.

Is the beeper disconnected?
Some PDS controllers won't change modes if beeper isn't connected. |
