Default Need 2013 ez go 48 volt to go Slower!!

Hello from the Bahamas. I have several 2013'carts enroute for security, landscapers etc. Here, the faster they go, the faster they break! Is there any way to govern the speed down? Thanks, Brad

With the handheld programmer, it can be slowed down to any slowness you want. (Airport mode).

If it's a 1206HB control you can jumper Pins 4 and/or 11 to B+. They act as personality plug inputs, I don't recall the exact combo (I posted it somewhere here in the past) but one of them should put the cart in airport mode, approx 8mph.

EDIT: Looks like that wont work, just checked my HB. 4only puts it in mode 4, 11 only does mode 3 and both 4+11 does mode 2. Both pins open leaves it in the default setting set by the handheld. (any value 1~5).

Possible alternative would be to put a mechanical stop under the pedal to keep it under 50% or something, or add a resistor to the ITS input.

Hey, does the OEM control have reduced reverse speed? If yes, why not put the controller in reverse mode 24/7

Other option is XCT300 for every cart and we can program performance Grandma would approve

Several to do, right? Rent the programmer off eBay... Forward & reverse speeds & acceleration totally programmable. But, if you are about to be in charge of a fleet of 48v txt, having the programmer could be a great investment as a diagnostic tool. And seeing who gets the most use (will need maintenance soonest).
