Default 02 36V Ezgo txt will not move.

Ok guys,

Tonight I sold a 02 Exgo txt to a customer. They drove it around the lot, then up and down the road, then loaded it up to take home. Well after the hour drive home in the rain I get a call the cart wont do anything. So I take the hour drive to there house to check it out. Apparently they got it home and drove it around the neighborhood then parked it for 10-15 minutes then went out to go for another ride and nothing happened.

I show up and the cart wouldn't do anything except click when you put it in reverse and hit the pedal.

I'm trying to make it right by fixing the cart before their camping trip they leave for tomorrow at 4.

Just need some help where to start or if some one knows a mobile repair guy in the Davenport, Fl area that can help out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How can you have a golf cart CUSTOMER and not know the difference between sepex and series?

When you said "customer" and "drove it around the lot", some of us could have thought you were in the biz.

I have sold a couple that I've took in on trades through willing and dealing but wouldn't consider myself in the business.

I would like to learn more to eventually get in it more.

I had this cart for a few weeks and drove it everyday with no issues then this happened

considering they hauled it home "IN THE RAIN" and then drove it around after they got it home.... The first thing I would do is open up the pedal box and check for moisture and dry it out.

Series cart only clicks in rev. Wont go in either direction.
I would test the F&R micro switch on the driver's side first. Get the solenoid engaging in both directions.
