Default Where is the + & - on my Solenoid?

I'm upgrading my solenoid to a MZJ400. I can not find any indication, that make sense to me, as to what goes where. The only thing I can see is a "1" and a "2" on the small terminals.

??? Sorry you did not get this. Everybody who buys a 400 solenoid gets this. If the 400 MZJ is part of a kit you get this. Thanks for the complement.

Don't want to hijack the thread, but it is on the same topic some, and deals with that solenoid.

Just wondering why a person wouldn't spend the extra $10 and buy the bigger solenoid off your web store even if they currently didn't intend to go past 500a.

Seems like a small amount of change to spend to have the 500a option for later, plus maybe it would even buy some extra safety factor if you're staying under 500a.

Or is it all about the post sizes?

There are + and minuses to the bigger solenoid. It does offer silver contacts and 2 stage coil which the old MZJ200 does not. And basically you were correct until we discontinued the MZJ200 & switched to the SW180 with magnetic blowouts - And sometimes the bigger solenoid is just too big to fit in the limited space provided and as you mentioned the 3/8ths terminals are a challenge for some.

I had to get to the second sentence before I understood "pluses and minuses" as "pros and cons" and not polarity. One track mind.
