Default 2012 ezgo rxv. What am I missing

Hello all thanks in advance for any help
I recently purchesed a 2012 ezgo RXV from a friend that cleans out storage lockers. He knows nothing of the history of the cart. It's missing some parts, one is the electric parking brake which has been ordered. From the pics I can find online I'm also missing the tow/run switch and the board it goes to. Can some one with the same cart please post some pics of under the tow/run switch panel?

All Rxvs use the same cover panel, with different stickers used on different model years. You can use any good quality SPST switch as a tow/run switch (one with precious metal contacts will give best life). Honestly, if you are building this for your own use, the cover is not that important, just don't wash battery scuzz onto the controller. Also, that mismatched battery setup is bogus & will cause you troubles. Rxv is quite picky about good batteries. We have some super smart guys around here for RXVs, so please ask any questions before accidentally messing anything up. Any way I can help, I will also, and I'm Ezgo certified.

Thanks Cgtech
I am getting a set of batteries for it as soon as possible. That's the way it came with that exide truck battery in it. Can you tell me what the plug labels #3 is for? Also looking at the wiring schematic I see that there are some inline fuses but it seems I'm missing a furs box or some thing. The fuses are just stuck in the connectors. Seems kinda hack to me, but I guess it will work for now.

For the run/tow switch, marine grade switches offer a little better corrosion resistance, as they're intended for salt water use, though not quite as aggressive as "under the hood" (seat).

That plug is part of the bypass system to unlock the brake if the system malfunctions. It is not normally connected, but does normally have a protective cap (that's still attached to that missing cover, with the instructions how to use the bypass system).

The run/tow switch circuit. Is that open or closed for run? As of now with the wires twisted together, when you turn the key on solenoid clicks and cart lunges back and forth, beeps then solenoid shuts off. From the info I found here, http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...rm-sounds.html , that is a safety feature to check that the brake is working.

Yep, closed is ON. And your rxv successfuly FAILED it's brake test (big surprise since it's not even installed).
