Default '91 Elec Marathon Series Wiring diagram??

I'm running out of time to troubleshoot my cart.

We just purchased it. I replaced all batteries. Lights work, but we have no movement. We have found a few broken wires, but none that match up.

I found the solenoid resistor broken so I know that's one thing. But I also found a black & white wire coming out of the potentiometer that I can't figure out.

And yes, I've looked at the sticky notes, but none of those diagrams seems to be the same. The closest is the elec solid state one, but it shows a double Fnr switch & mine has a single.

Can anyone help me?

I like this one. Easier to follow for the way by brain works.

Ok so I just traced all the wiring. That is the only wiring that is broken with the exception of the resistor.

Could be resistor prevent the solenoid from working?

no ... it only supply's a small current to the controller

first check the solenoid
2nd try by passing key switch
3rd f/r micro switch
4th the other f/r micro switch
and then the potmeter micro switch

So we got the cart to finally work. We replaced the F/R, solenoid & fixed the wiring from the POT.

Hubby went to replace the lights with LED's. I read we can't since they are for 12v. Temporarily(need cart this weekend) I wired the new lights up to a 12v battery in the "trunk". Charged the cart, but now it won't move again! Batteries all over 6V, solenoid clicks when pedal is pressed, but the voltage meter drops to 0 when pedal is hit.

Suggestions on where to start?

Ugh...it moved for like a second, so we figured it just needed charged. I plan on checking all the wiring tomorrow. Hubby isn't very gentle when he's doing things. I deal with all the wiring/testing!
