Default Cheap Speed Increase?

My '12 48V TXT goes around 14-15MPH on stock 18x8.5x8 tires. Is there any "cheap" way to get a few more MPH?

Not cheap but the fix is awesome. Alltrax XCT 300 will give 23 mph and faster acceleration.

Maybe next year I'd be willing to put in a few more dollars into speed. Right now I'm primarily concerned with the appearance of my cart. In the meantime, is there any good FAQs on these controllers and how they work?

The OEM control can be turned up to 19 mph by a dealer.

I set all my txt carts to 20 mph by adjusting the throttle cable and governer when adjusting them you must rember to make sure that you do not go to far or it will over rev and burn generator belts one of our mechanics that no longer works on our carts had one of our txt carts running about 32 by the app on my phone by adjusting these and I had to put a generator belt on it once every couple of days until I turned it down I believe that at around 34 mph on a factory rear end the motor will come apart due to over reving

you can also shorten the throttle cable spring I do not recommend doing this as I stated before over reving can cost you dearly I belive a new 400 cc motor is around $1500
there is you tube videos about how to do the adjustments I posted before the only tool you need is a 10 mm wrench
