Default Ezgo txt - D and DMotor - series drive question

Found someone selling these motors for a series drive. Claims that they had upgraded armament and windings, but no specifics. I have upgraded my cart to 48v (added 2 6v), 2 ga wire, 500amp alltrax controller. 23" tires. With my current setup (plum quick bandit) I'm getting speeds of 23ish on flats, 26 downhill.

This is what he said when I asked about one:
When i was building trikes having a 1400 pound payload plus weight of unit appx 990 pounds could do 28 mph
Could set them to go faster but distance was also a factor
Take a little have to give a little lol

Would this motor increase that at all? Or if this isn't enough info what questions should I ask the seller? Is $500 a good deal if components inside are upgraded (don't see this model on D n D website and highest price is $420)

First make sure it will bolt to your axle then ask him for the ES # on the motor and call D&D and ask what this motor will do for you.
ES means engineering sample. These are custom built.

It's 500 each, but let me see how these would work with DnD in the morning and see what kind of deal I can work out

Called DND and they stated this motor is a straight shaft versus the 19 spline but they wouldn't go into detail about inner workings, just stated it wouldn't work due to shaft. Has anyone ever use a conversion coupling for the 19 spline
