Relocating the Controller ???????
Has anyone ever tried relocating the controller and FNR to the bag well so they can get 8 6volt batteries under the seat in a EZgo TXT?

Yeah... You are probably right... I should just wait until I do a battery replacement.

Re: Relocating the Controller ???????
We have installed 8 6v under the seat with the controller several times in my neighborhood, the only thing you need to do is slide the controller mount back as far as it will go and there will be room in front of it for that battery.
Remove the controller mount and make a template of the bottom of it then place the controller mount as far back as it will go and mark its location then place your template in this location and drill your 4 holes and reinstall the mount. On my cart I took out the pan that the controller mount is attached to, turned it over, modified it a little bit and mounted it that way because the battery in front off the controller would not sit right, but now all we do is leave the pan the way it is and cut a piece of 2x6 lumber to put in it to give that battery a solid base to sit on. And to secure the 2 new batteries we usually just pick up very large tie straps like the ones used on duct work for Air conditioning, the hardware store usually has them. There are pros and cons for 8 6v vs 6 8v, I liked the thought of saving about 400lbs and went with lithium |

Re: Relocating the Controller ???????
The 8/6 carts are unnecessarily heavy and the power to weight ratio suffers. As does the lawn and the loading ramps.
