Default Anyone know what this is/does?

Bought a 2012 EZGO RXV a week ago. This is laying under the seat on the drivers side. It has sticky tape on it, but never been attached any where. Can't find it on the wiring diagram. When I do a google search, nothing. It is made by Newtronics, part # 4088-0075-04. It has three wire going to it, RED, White and Black. The wires are part of the wiring harness. Sent an email to EZGO support, and they don't know what it is.

What does it do and where should it be attached?

Thanks.

I'm betting that it is a voltage converter. Chase the wires and see where they go.

The wires go into the wiring harness. Didn't want to untape them to chase them down if I didn't have to. No radio. Only thing after market is the light kit (turn signals, horn, 4-way flashers, brake lights). I was confused because the wires are part of the main wiring harness, but can't find it on wiring diagram and EZGO support didn't know what it was either. The other side is just the black electrical fill, no markings.

Maybe this winter, I take the harness apart and chase it down.

They look like blade connections. Make sure the lights are off and unplug one of the wires then turn the lights on to see if they work.

Brake light delay switch. Part of the aftermarket light kit. I am in the process of installing one from DoubleTake and it has a similar one.

It isn't Ezgo OEM equipment, that much I'm sure of.

Thanks for the info. It is part of the aftermarket light kit. Who ever installed it did a really good job on the wiring.
