Default Voltage diving

Hey guys. I sent my monitor file to alltrax to up my torque from the unimap. They said the motor looked to be doing good and I could use either there t curve or s curve. However my voltage is diving and said to have 4 or larger cables and heavy duty solenoid. I have scottys sw180 HD and his 2 awg cables. Everything is tight. And I cleaned all terminal posts when I put the cables on. They are 8 month old rangers. Any suggestions??

SW202 and 2g is what I would suggest if you asked me about building for this motor.
Assuming you already have the SR500 and 400 solenoid?

Was reading this again. I just have the sw180 I got from you a little while back. No on the sr500 and 400. On your site the sw202 shows for the replacement F and R which I just have the toggle and my XCT. So what all do I need to get?

Can't go wrong with ScottyB. As long as you follow his directions!

I just wish he was closer. I wanted to buy a new charger for my RXV but shipping is a bear for one of those heavy beasts.

Alltrax asked me to do some load testing so I did some with my meter and wide open throttle up an incline and got the following results

8.2 rest 6.7 WOT
8.3 rest 6.9 WOT
8.3 rest 6.9 WOT
8.3 rest 6.8 WOT
8.2 rest 6.5 WOT
8.3 rest 6.9 WOT

They all jumped back to 7.5 almost instantly and then back to rest immediately upon stop. Comparing what Trojan said I am way over on voltage drop of .4 V but obviously more controller and motor than stock. Is this look normal to y'all or is my whole year old pack bad? All Trojan ranger 160s Thanks again all

When we add up all these individual tests I assume we get close to a pack reading.
So you had 49.60 at rest. Not a full charge = close to 75% of 50.9 (full)
Just wanted to check the batteries are holding 50.9 12-24 hours after the charge is completed.(without the charger connected because it has a float mode)
Collectively you got 40.70 under load. This is bad because there is a drop of 8.9v under load. Alltrax was right to suspect the batteries.

I know you are using the DPI charger. And I assume you check water levels at regular intervals so there are no dry cells.
Questions
1. what make and capacity batteries?
2. what age are the batteries?
3.what is the highest voltage the pack reaches under charge?
4.what mode is the charger set on?
5. what is the pack voltage 12-24 hrs after the charger is disconnected?

I will check on all of these when I get home Scotty. I know when I was setting there both my dash SOC and Exray said 50.7. I always leave it on the charger and it reads 52.5 constantly but I do not know what it has peaked during charge. I think I have seen 56 but I can't sware to that. I will unplug and leave it tonight.

1. The batterys are all Trojan ranger 160s
2. 12-13 months
3. I will double check high voltage
4. I don't believe I had to change the default jumpers but I will cheat
5. I will charge full and leave it undone tonight. It generally sets around 50.7

The batterys are always waters. The SG checked out to be all in the green on every cell

I answered some of ur questions above. Could the old motor have killed these batterys
