Default Blue wire from solenoid - ezgo txt series

In-laws ran their 98 ezgo txt series into their pond. Replaced everything but having some trouble with the wiring as it doesn't match the txt series for what I diagrams I've found. There is a blue wire from keyswitch that goes to MS2 nearest batteries. There is a blue wire coming from the large hot side of the solenoid, through the harness and is hanging by the FNR switch. Cart doesn't run unless I hook it up with other blue wire, but want to ensure I don't fry anything. Any help is appreciated.

The loose blue wire should probably go to MS2.

See attached schematic.

I’m in the process of rewiring a cart and have the same question. Do I just hook up the blue wire with the other one coming from the key switch into the F/R?
