What am I worth?
Hello BGW people!
Completely new to EZGO carts, but I may be purchasing a new cart tomorrow. I've got Club Cars down pretty pat, but haven't tinkered with EZGO yet. Here's a photo and what I can gather from it. pretty sure its a TXT, it's a 2003. The gentlemen states that it has 2 year old batteries (hopefully he's wise and has cared for them), elongated roof, rear seat conversion with a very robust aftermarket grab bar, 3-4 inch A-arm lift, and 22inch sahara tires (not sure of the size). The hubs look horrible, but with those removed and rim painted black, I think this thing is a beast. What, in yall's opinion, is this worth. https://images.craigslist.org/00101_...9K_600x450.jpg |

Re: What am I worth?
I'm guessing no other upgrades (controller or motor wise).
Check to make sure it has HD rear leafs (they will have 3 to 4 leafs). Looks to be a solid cart, $2k up to $3800 is about the price range. |

Re: What am I worth?
2-3K in my area if the batteries are a premium brand and actually 2 years old.
BUT also in my area "2" year old batteries is code for -- they're really 4 years old or worse. This cart left the factory as a 36v cart. Difficult to tell from the picture for sure but appears to be a series cart (not sepex). |

Unless there is something bad about that model I don't know about, and the batteries are 2 years old and good, $3000. Maybe a bit more.

Re: What am I worth?
He sees the F&R handle, and the fact it doesn't have a PDS sticker.
Also, every EZ GO txt of that era left the factory as a 36v. And I don't think the blue bodied carts were made for golf course duty. I could be wrong on that one though. I've never seen a DCS cart so not sure how you can tell it's not one of those by looking. https://lynchburg.craigslist.org/rvs...232912463.html Have you driven it yet? |

Re: What am I worth?
What kind of seend should this cart have with stock controller and motor? Looking like the max for txt is about 15mph. Do these cars do well on hills? I live in the blue ridge and my neighborhood has more hills than flats...

Re: What am I worth?
It is a 2001+ cart based on the 4 bolt steering column. Either a Series or DCS based on the shifter. Body looks to be patriot blue. Ford color.. 8 inch rims and those tires are directional so either the front or back one is reversed. When you see it lift the seat and look at the back of the shifter. If it is a silver puck it is a DCS cart. If it has a rod going to another box it is a series.
