Default What is swappable between TXT and RXV?

Looking at the RXV's - contemplating getting a new cart - current cart a Medalist/TXT -and want to keep some of the parts I currently have if possible - is anything interchangeable? Assuming rims are, yes? Anything else I can keep? Motor?

aww man keep the TXT lol, less headache than a RXV

not completely sure but I want to say not much can be swapped between txt and rxv. the rxv is more electronically controlled and a touchy car

really? they have problems?

I love my cart man, but it rides like **** lately, want to lower it but the lift kit is welded on. I'm thinking I can trade mine, keep the parts I want (if only rims, so be it) and start again.

don't get me wrong, the RXV is a good cart but in the long run compared to the trusty TXT, the TXT wins lol

I'm not sure what year RXV you were looking at but just know too that when the batteries go dead on an older model RXV the car locks up and it is very hard to move. so later they created a lever to release the brakes. now apparently with the newer ones, you need to mess with the controller to release the brakes when the cart dies. sounds funny because now it seems more complicated to free it up when it dies

I had a TXT PDS for five years and decided to get an RXV. There is no comparison the RXV is a much better cart. Yes not as easy to work with but you do learn. We also got this great forum here to help us out. Most people that have made the switch are very happy with the RXV's.

Get a 2012 or newer with a Curtis controller in it.

Yeah, it is not a bad car, I guess I just prefer txt. I just hate the 12v batteries you have to deal with in those carts If it's not already he should convert to 6 8v batteries, much better system than 12v

The motor is not. The RXV has a AC motor and the TXT is DC. Love my RXV and have owned a TXT as well.
