Question Controller issues

I had controller supposedly rebuilt by a guy on ebay. Got back installed cart moved forward then stopped. Messaged guy said he'd be glad to help trouble shoot so I sent back to him. He called me & told me that the same spot was burnt in controller again he fixed but said I could have faulty wiring somewhere. I have looked all over nothing. Could something in the motor cause the Controller to burn up? I was told by a local golf cart shop I needed a new motor & controller but I've heard locally they really don't know what they are doing. Any help would be great.

you cant rebuild a controller-only replace broken parts-which often means that other components maybe about to fail-they have the same time as the previously failed parts...

some reconditioned controllers last-some dont...

it can be cheaper in the long run to get an alltrax from cartsunlimited...
